I cannot emphasize enough how critical it is for us to be tunnel like in our focus for life; we are so easily distracted by the negatives challenges that confront us from day to day, sometimes we feel mired as our needs transform themselves into necessities. What fuels our passion and drive to overcome? Is it the possibility of winning, or is it the need to compete? We are so perplexed at times at our own shortcomings, which remind us of our earthly and carnal existence, crumbling seems easier than being glued and keeping it together. Some people slowly dissipate into oblivion, while others shun confrontation and live in seclusion, gradually eking out the number of time they are allowed to have. To live is to love, to dream, to hurt, to fail, and to get up again and believe, to keep our hopes alive. To be embroiled with a seething passion to win, and to be declared as pioneers in our fields of endeavor, never doubting the strength and resilience of the human spirit. We are built to win; to step out of our comfort zones and conquer our fears, to endear ourselves with friends, family and loved ones. To be kind to those who despise us, and be true to those who refuse to understand or accept us, to be courageous in the face of defeat, and relentless in the midst of adversity. For all of us the possibilities are endless, for most of us they are just around the corner, and for some of us they are at our fingertips; above all we are who God says we are: “more than conquerors” Whom do you believe you are? It is sad to say the least, that some of us have reached the point of no return and simply cannot face the reflections in our mirrors; it is pathetic even, that we somehow managed to carve out a survival routine based on hype and adventure never for a moment entrapping the innermost voice of our consciousness. We need to be real and trade in the superficial for what is deep meaningful and fulfilling; mediocrity is not a choice, but a result of resounding failures on our part. Set the bar high; very high, for even if you don’t reach and you fall, you will have increased the possibility of catching some branches on the way down. There is no substitute for what you believe and what you can achieve, the success which we all crave lies not in our accomplishments, but rather in our ability to retain what we achieve and to feast upon its true value. This gives us the impetus to launch out into the deep; to step out of the boat and to walk upon the waters, to think that as long as we are alive therein is laid our hope. It’s dark today, and clouds mar the progress of the sun; obscurity seems to be the eminent force emanating from the gloom that exists, yet we press on; for we believe that this too shall pass.

Tessane's Dream

Season 5 of NBC's  'The Voice' has come to an end, and as was hugely anticipated the winner is island girl from Jamaica Tessane Chin, this dynamic vocalist has captured the hearts and minds of the audience who tuned in to every episode, and by far and wide audiences from around the world. She has truly epitomized the heart of a warrior, and the fierce competitive spirit of the Caribbean People, representing the various cultures of the region in her deportment and personality. Tessane has definitely taken the musical world by storm, and at times had her vocal coach Adam Levine speechless, she truly carried her nation's flag proudly, and more than held her own in an arena of superb talent and rehearsed rivalry.  I started following  her performances and the show from her spirited rendition of Jimmy Cliff's classic; 'many rivers to cross'. Tessane nailed the key and the melody with consummate ease and poise, and mirrored the timelessness of this song with infectious vibes and a style all of her own. Later on she then had everyone breathless with a forceful and complete rendition of 'bridge over troubled waters', right there and then I wondered if she could top that performance, as all others in the competition seemed to be affected by her command and seemingly flawless vocal prowess. Then the magical moment came, and for a time it seemed as though the earth stood still as she belted out a Whitney Houston classic 'i have nothing'; honestly I felt chills as I watched in amazement as she caressed those high notes with power and finesse, it was easily the performance of the entire season. If I were to describe Tessane from a vocal perspective, it would be a fusion of Whitney with Celine, and tinged occasionally by spots of Minne Rippleton, what is even more impressive is her apparent ability to put words together on the spot, she appears to be humble and sincere in her responses. There are many memories and lessons to be gathered from this season's show, and the producers now are challenged to maintain a quality that has certainly raised a notch. Relationships were built, and people got the treasured opportunities to meet and work with some of the best in the music business, it is my hope that the camaraderie and warmth displayed by the various competitors, would serve as an example to the rest of us; it seemed genuine enough. Thanks for the performances Tessane and for moving us with your passion and strong vocal ability, we hope sincerely that you would now move on to greater things, and that this result would propel your career into the next dimension of success and reward. To all those who dream, remember that you can lose it if you don't act, and so like Tessane, let's continue to believe and seek the support of those who still believe in us, for the reality of our victory just like Tessane's will be sweet and rewarding. Work for as hard and as long as you can, and never ease up; never stop, until all has been exhausted to the fulfillment of your dream and your reality.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate Marketing Tips For Any Skill Level Are you, as a business owner, looking for ways to reach for customers in new demographic areas, and grow your profits to higher levels? Each and every business owner with a website should explore the extremely cheap, yet effective, strategy of online marketing. You have the potential to reach every computer user when you use Online marketing. This article will cover the basics of this great marketing strategy. Limited time offers and promotions can be beneficial to an eCommerce site's PageRank. You can buy a page ranking if you have a good enough deal. Stores do the same thing by advertising an item on TV, which they then sell at a loss to bring people into the store. Compiling a mailing list with all relevant client information is vital. You can offer customers the option to provide their information, or you can make it mandatory for purchases. Either way, you can use this information later to send out sales information, offer promotional materials or to ask for customer feedback. The key to successful Online marketing is recognizing a need or want and filling it. Your business will have a good foundation if you approach everyday with a clear understanding of how to answer the questions. Helping people solve their issues with your product or service is how word of mouth generates business. To promote your product to the audience before the sale, introduce them to a page that is specifically about the merchandise, like a video. Having information like this about the product available will make people feel more comfortable making the purchase. It will come across to your customers that you are not just trying to make money, but that you actually want them to have the best product to meet their needs. If you are interested in having a trusted site, write a FAQ. This help your traffic see that you are important to them and are there to address their concerns as quickly as possible. The more your client will benefit, the greater the chances that they will complete a purchase for the things you offer. You may not realize it, but you already have the tools you need for a successful website marketing enterprise. There is no need for expensive software or fancy equipment. Just use yourself. Simply work diligently, and think before you act on a decision. When you do this, your business will improve across the board with rises in productivity, sales and profits. Possibly the biggest obstacle in life is the ability to be ourselves; and while this may sound controversial, the fact remains that we are the biggest stumbling blocks to our own progress and purpose in life. Excuses are the order of the day whenever we are confronted with realities of our own failures, some of us even try to blame nature or fate for what we really are totally responsible for. For the most part we are pathetic, and what we present as excuses are really reasons why we sell ourselves short, what is sad, is that we are even prepared to lie to ourselves to believe the lie we are about to tell about ourselves. Enough said about that as we contemplate on how true these areas of our lives are; one must be cognizant of the fact that dreams are only just that, until we bring ourselves to be convicted and confident about taking action. I recall the words of the late Helen Keller, who despite her physical challenges (deaf, blind), overcame a world of obstacles to say: Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved. How is it that we now believe that there must be ideal situations for us to succeed? Ideal or not Helen Keller achieved the success that most of us only dream of, but her story is a testament to inspire us to act despite the odds and get the reward that only comes with action. In a similar vein, we should also pay attention to Ludwig van Beethoven, who for the best part of his life struggled with deafness; undeniably in his last ten years of life despite he was completely deaf composed some of his greatest works. To date he arguably is the greatest composer that ever lived; since his death on March 26, 1827, his music has lived on like an endless beacon of refreshing memories, and still influences the lives of musicians and musical scholars alike today. What can we gain from the memoirs of these two great pioneers whose vision and scope transcended the boundaries of abnormality and disease, to rise to soaring heights and see their dreams unfold with vigor and passion! When we fail, there are no excuses and there are no reasons, believe it or not, we alone have the desire and faith to shape the results of our destiny. It does not lie in the hands of nature or some unseen diabolical force descriptive of many names, instead our ambitions and ideals are the ingredients of the catalyst which pushes us to either act or procrastinate. You are the true master of your destiny by the choices that you make, and by the information you choose to digest in your minds and hearts, do not be fooled my friends, you are more better than you give yourself credit to be. Appreciation and value of self is integral to the success of any individual or group, but there must be a clearly defined and sustainable plan, written and confessed daily by all who seek to fulfill their dreams, a path of desire must be chosen and constantly trodden upon to build faith and momentum. My appeal to you my friends is simple and real, don't ever give up or give way to neglect and negativity, in all your trials there is a way out and a way forward. No one on this planet has the power to stop you from dreaming and reaching for that dream, except you, you cannot afford to give that authority to anyone; no not at all. Convince yourself indelibly that all that you desire and all you possess is indeed yours, and that all you dream and long for is also yours for the taking if you want it bad enough. The desire to succeed and see fulfillment, must be annoying and relentless, it must give you nightmares when you sleep, and day dreams which are demanding. It must harass your mindset and stimulate your imagination, it must instill commitment and inspire due diligence. My friends trust yourself and what you know to be true and let that dream become renewed in your heart, let the stories and lives of so many restless warriors inspire you to believe and act again, for within is a seed waiting to be germinated and conceived with promise and hope. Hope for a renewal and a forward thrust to the goal, never doubting; never stopping, until all that you conceive is staring you in the face, fulfilled and real at last.

The news has ricocheted around the world of the passing of arguably the greatest dreamer of our times Nelson Mandela, this icon has transcended the boundaries and borders of racial discrimination and equal rights for his countrymen first, and by extension all who had been marginalized by bias and myopic philosophies; amazingly he has done this selflessly for the best part of his life. The name Mandela is indelibly synonymous with freedom, and wailing emotional chants of justice and equality for all; he has imprinted his brand on the hearts and minds of diverse cultures and creeds, sadly like all men, his time has come to an end. History will show that the integrity and determination of this warrior of the people, has channeled into being fundamental changes about the political and social landscape in his native land (South Africa), undoubtedly he has bridged the gap and paved the pathway for a brighter and better destiny for years to come. The mindset and tenacity of this icon took him from the confines of prison for 27 years on Robben Island, Pollsmoor Prison and Victor Verster Prison for his stand as an activist against the apartheid policies of the Government of South Africa, to the seat of the highest office in the land; (President). In an amazing turn of events of the simplest kind, Mandela, without weapons or any form of physical confrontation, managed to defy the pundits of the day and embarked upon a journey of immense proportions which yielded much fruit. For his sacrificial displays and selfless values, he earned among many the following accolades; The Nobel Peace Prize,Time's Person of the Year,United Nations Prize in the Field of Human Rights, Order of the Nile, World Citizenship Award,Presidential Medal of Freedom, Congressional Gold Medal, Arthur Ashe Courage Award, Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, Gandhi Peace Prize. What a superb resume this great man holds, but beyond that what he alone has managed to accomplish is by far more valuable and endearing than any award he may have received. This hero's personal life has in itself its own level of controversy, one cannot help but remember the departure and then the divorce from ex-wife Winnie Mandela, that apart, the achievements and accolades poured out on his behalf will no doubt be remembered for many a year to come. The essence of his life has been emulated in songs, poems, in movies and books, probably the most famous being the one that he wrote himself; Long Walk To Freedom. I think of the impact of others who can be mentioned in the same breath, the likes of Martin Luther King Jnr., and Mahatma Gandhi, these pioneers of freedom and civil rights cannot be forgotten. The struggles and the sacrifices which decorated their lives, have not been in vain, these fathers of many and leaders of all fought their battles with their hearts and minds, and an unyielding desire with faith to see the respect for life and liberty become the beacon of hope for all mankind. No battlefields were burdened with dead bodies of soldiers as a result of their wars, neither was there any economic depressions because of their agendas, instead they brought to the world in large measures the simple belief that all men were created equal, and everyone deserved a chance to enjoy their freedom of choice and acceptance. I am awesomely inspired by the quotes of inspiration by these giants of men, but for Mandela there are three which stand out for me, they are; "I am fundamentally an optimist. Whether that comes from nature or nurture, I cannot say. Part of being optimistic is keeping one's head pointed toward the sun, one's feet moving forward. There were many dark moments when my faith in humanity was sorely tested, but I would not and could not give myself up to despair. That way lays defeat and death.” (2) “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.” (3) “For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.” Wether you choose to call him father, leader, friend, brother, or madiba as he was affectionately called, in the words of South Africa's President Jacob Zuma "South Africa has lost it's greatest son." Vice President Joe Biden lamented; "the world needs people like Nelson Mandela." Whatever your sentiments may be, this great icon has embedded in our memories the depths and heights of his love and appreciation for life, he dreamt endlessly, and lived fearlessly in the face of tremendous odds, madiba you will never be forgotten. Thanks for the sacrifices and the lessons you have taught us, at 95 you are in body gone, but in spirit therein lies the lasting youth and freshness of your dreams; they live on. The Greatest Dreamer! Nelson Mandela.

Their Dreams/Our Hopes

Hi friends and well wishers hope you are doing fine today, that your life is blessed and enriched with the ability to live move and have being, and even if it is not quite the way you want it to be, then consider it a 'work in progress'. Often times I am tempted to be angry with the world for some of the atrocities that we see daily, and sometimes it involves the lives of innocent children; children who for the most part are unwilling and non consenting participants in a game where the winner takes all. You are probably wondering where I am going with all this; well take for example the sick and cowardly minds who see no ill in exploiting hapless children for child pornography, or the twisted and demeaning stance of those who are involved in illegal child labor, you know what I'm talking about. It is sad, sickening, and degenerating to see these gullible children being used by men whose claim to fame is that they get things done by all means necessary. The big question one must ask is this; what kind of psychological damage is being done to that child, who instead of leading a normal life, is now a victim of abuse and exploitation? Secondly, what will the future hold for these (victims), should they be fortunate to escape from the trappings of such a depressing and hopeless life? The answers are many, and surely we have seen the sad reality of some of these cases around the world, the outcome is never a good one. So i ask myself another question; is there something that i can do, or some organization i can be a part of, that is doing something to help these children? Recently i learnt that there are over 150 million children that are homeless and possibly living on the streets, some are orphaned and others are treated like outcasts made to survive under threatening and degradable circumstances. Most of us have nice warm beds to sleep at night, and we can afford three meals per day, most of these children can't, their days and nights are spent seeking and searching for some level of solace and comfort all which we take so easily for granted. Most of our futures spring bright with hope of a better day if we live to see tomorrow, but for some there is no such thing as a future, just eking out a daily existence with no promises, and no light at the end of the tunnel. If you could do something about these children, if you could somehow make a contribution to their well being, would you do it? I'm sure you would, so take my advice and log on to, and see what I am talking about. Then if you feel moved enough to be a part of this great movement, you can join up like i did and make a lifetime contribution to children all over the world. I have taken the liberty of inserting my link for easy access to the penny auction website, where you can invest in the auction or simply purchase a product of your choice and help contribute to this worthy cause. Through your participation some child around the globe may have a chance of seeing a better life and a brighter day, so go ahead my friends and use the link for your chance to participate and bring to life some child's dream. Godspeed!!!

Dream What You Eat

Hi my lovely people, this is the best day of the rest of our lives, and you wonder why? Well first of all we are alive, and we can have a hope of fulfilling a dream or two. However in this life there are good and bad habits, some good habits are seldom used except when under pressure, and most bad habits accompany us on a daily basis, even when we are not aware of them. Here's the challenge; we are more likely to fall prey to the bad habits, because they are much more easier and attractive than the good habits. Let's look at one classic example, when we awake in the morning with the alarm clock going of, it is so easy to hit snooze, when what we really should be doing is getting up of the bed and get our day going. If you are blessed like me to be sleeping with my beautiful and warm wife, then you have a next problem trying to untangle yourself to get of the bed. Additionally when we look at our eating habits, some of us are not even sure of how to control the urges we have for what we eat, some people eat by compulsion while others eat by knowledge. The secret to a healthy and normal lifestyle is not as cut and dry as some may lead us to believe, the sad thing is that there are way to many factors involved to get our full attention on what we are supposed to do. You need to know your blood type, your height and weight as well as your age, then you have to do a blood or non evasive profile to see what the levels of fluids and sediments are like in your body. Then you have to match that information with a wide variety of foods to see which ones are best suitable for you, sounds pretty exhausting doesn't it! Well it is; but it is also very necessary for you to educate yourself on what foods, liquids, and lifestyles are most compatible to your best state of health. One must be mindful of the fact that what maybe okay for your neighbor, may not be the best thing for you. The question is then, what do we need to do to ensure that we live the healthy lifestyle which was intended for us, and how do we sustain it? There is no one answer for you or me, and therefore we must take the time to study a wide set of possibilities before we conclude what is best for us. This will entail some patience and due diligence in ensuring that all the basic levels of physical medicine are exploited and profiled as close to our habits as possible. When this extensive research has been completed by searching Google and seeking advise from professionals, then you should have documented the vital data for a final conclusion. You do not have to spend money and sit in line to see doctors and practitioners to get the information you need, all you have to do is take a good record of all your eating and social habits, and match them against your research. Now my friends I am not a doctor, neither do I hold any kind of medical qualification, but I had diagnosed symptoms of diabetes from several doctors, and I did not believe any of them; instead i took time to work on my health. I went to bed thinking of the foods I should eat and making a pledge to so do, additionally I slept with information on my mind, and my bedside. I took responsibility for my health and well being, and eventually I prevailed, so if i can you can too. My friends there are so many people suffering from this debilitating disease simply because of ignorance, don't be a victim, instead be a victor and find the answers to this curse in the information posted for you. Your health is your wealth, and you have the opportunity to dream what you eat. Take care of yourself it is your only responsibility. Godspeed and good health.
